he Honeywell 4800p IT5180 ImagePod barcode and document scanner reads 1D and 2D (QR, PDF417, Datamatrix, etc.) barcodes, and even takes digital images, so you can capture small documents like signatures or forms of ID! It is completely plug-and-play, compatible with Windows XP, 7, and 8, and will scan from any surface, even glossy cell phone screens! It is so small and light, it can be secured almost anywhere with as little as a strip of velcro- we’ve included a picture alongside a quarter for scale. This has 6 LED’s too, not the 2 LED cheaper versions.

For legacy POS software, the 4800p can also be reprogrammed to use a virtual serial interface while still plugging into a USB port- if you need this functionality, please contact us before purchasing, so we can reconfigure the scanner for you and include the drivers and utilities to use the scanner this way.

These scanenrs may have a Verizon tag on the top as these were used as a show demo and look VERY clean!
