REFURBISHED, pulled apart and cleaned. The entirety of this process takes about 3 hours per unit. Used units rails almost always look horrible, however, we clean ours in heated ultrasonic tanks, and if necessary spray paint them with a high quality acrylic factory matching color. The units looks very good, and are not just cleaned, but we put literally hours into these to make sure they look great and operate correctly long after the sale. We are dealers and know impressions are important and while these are used and will still have scratches, these are nice cleaned units ready for drop in. Change to your existing needed configuration by barcodes as needed and you are good to go.

This is a PSC Magellan 8500 series grocery store scanner with no power supply. The scanner and included internal scale weighs up to 30 pounds and is 20 includes long. This scale will go into a counter and will require a space of 11.5 inches X 18.5 inch hole. Generous 12 inch platter on top with room for large vegetable weighs and also the top cover can have things weighed on them to lean on-even a factory sticker indicating same. This does NOT include a power adapter and will need the correct 6 pin connecting from the power supply to the scale scanner. This is an OEM original unit, not a junk knock off. This scanner can be used with a single serial 9 pin RS232 cable to both the scale and the scanner, it can also be used with two separate RS232 serial cables if your program requires it, or a single USB cable. There is NO CONNECTION CABLE INCLUDED in this listing, meaning you will need to buy the correct Datalogic USB or serial cable(s). The unit will have small blemishes from use as these are used units, but we did do the major cleaning on them and are good looking used units, however they are not new so expect them to be used with small blemishes as any other scanner at a grocery store would have from use. These units do not support NCI-ECR protocol on the scale, while rarely used it is worth mentioning.
